Christian Rotzoll is a senior systems engineer and prominent open-source advocate based in Germany. His pedigree is defined by his pivotal role in the Bitcoin Layer 2 scaling movement. He was one of the first developers to realize that for the Lightning Network to remain decentralized, home users required a “plug and play” node experience built on a strict “verify everything” architecture. He engineered the first automated shell-script stack for the Raspberry Pi 4, transforming a low-cost computer into a bank-grade financial routing node. His work is credited with democratizing Lightning Network liquidity by providing the tools for individuals, rather than just large corporations, to operate the network’s backbone.

RaspiBlitz provides the full-stack infrastructure for running a Sovereign Bitcoin Node. It automates the installation of Bitcoin Core alongside Lightning implementations (LND or CLN).
